leichhardt Landscaping The idea for this tropical garden was conceived in visits to Bali by Peter for owners who visited the island every year and loved it. Because the site was steep and somewhat unstable the swimming pool, spa and pavilion  were all built on a large piered concrete slab. The owners wanted a constant reminder of the Four Seasons Hotel in Jimbaran Bay where they had stayed, and the ease of being able to walk straight out from the house into their courtyard garden with a view. leichhardt Landscaping The pavilion for the garden above is an important part of the overall design, because it provides a comfortable area for shade and shelter during summer and also acts as a screen from the neighbouring property. The structure was built using mainly Indonesian timbers in the Balinese way with fine exposed joinery in the roof and elsewhere. The marble floor is heated so the pavilion can be used during the winter months. Ask a question

leichhardt Landscaping The owner of this swimming pool had seen photographs of the Balinese garden mentioned above and decided to appoint Peter to design and oversee the work for a garden for him with a swimming pool on his island on the Great Barrier Reef. Here again the site was difficult to say the least, with no roads, water or electricity. However, with much ingenuity from the engineers and builders this has became a true paradise on earth. Sydney Inner West Landscaping This swimming pool, with its classical shape was built high above Burraneer Bay looking out towards Port Hacking. Whilst unmistakably a Sydney garden with its angophoras and coastal vegetation, it also has a distinct flavour of the gardens of the Mediterranean on the Cote d' Azur and the Italian Riviera.
